What a farm share actually is
Our Conundrum Crates farm share program is designed to connect you with the land, the seasons, and the hands that grow your food. It’s our take on a traditional CSA — Community Supported Agriculture — but instead of paying for a whole season upfront, you just pay weekly along the way.
That order still matters. Most farms have to guess how much to plant and hope enough people show up to buy it. Markets are wonderful, but they get rained out — and the harvest still has to happen that week, rain or not. Members are what let us plan a season instead of gambling on one.

Unmatched freshness and quality
Each week we hand-pick the best seasonal produce, so your crate is filled with fresh, nutrient-dense items — from heirloom tomatoes to crisp greens.
It's farmer's choice
We fill every crate with the same amount and selection of the freshest, most abundant produce available that week. We can’t offer substitutions — though plenty of members happily trade what they don’t care for with friends who do.
Sunday pickup, 12–4pm
Collect your crate at the farm every Sunday from 12 to 4pm, during Sunday Fun Day. Pickup is part of the membership, not an errand.
Life happens
Going out of town? Skip the week or donate your crate to a partner family, in a couple of taps from your account. You can also have a friend collect it for you.

How it works
- 1Create your account and choose your share. No large payment up front.
- 2Your saved payment method is charged each Tuesday at midnight, for the following weekend’s crate.
- 3Pick up at the farm on Sunday between 12 and 4pm, during Sunday Fun Day.
- 4Going out of town? Log in before midnight on Tuesday to skip or donate that week. Skips are limited to 2 per season.
- 5Any crates left unclaimed after 4pm on Sunday are donated to communities in need through our partnership with Texas Health Resources.
Questions
- What if I can’t make it one week?
- Log in before midnight on Tuesday and either donate your crate or skip the week. Skips are limited to 2 per season; donating doesn’t count against that. You can also have a friend or family member collect your crate instead.
- Where do donated crates go?
- To communities in need, through our partnership with Texas Health Resources. Any crate left unclaimed after 4pm on Sunday is donated too, rather than wasted.
- What if I don’t know how to cook something?
- We send recipes with the weekly email, and there’s no such thing as a silly question at pickup. Half the fun is learning a vegetable you’d never have bought.
- What’s in season?
- Fall crates (September–December) may include kale, bok choy, turnips, radishes, beets, peppers, collard greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, broccoli, Swiss chard and green onions. Spring brings spinach, garlic, onions, carrots, asparagus, garlic scapes and green tomatoes. Summer means squash, zucchini, greens, herbs, squash blossoms, melons and blackberries.
- What happens if a crop fails?
- We fill the crate with whatever else is thriving, and if a whole week is lost we pause billing for everyone. You’re sharing the season with us, which cuts both ways.
- Can I join partway through the season?
- If we have shares left, yes. Billing starts the week you join — you never pay for weeks you weren’t a member.
